Terrance H. Gregg - Executive Chairman

Terrance H. Gregg is currently President & CEO of DexCom, Inc., a leader in the development of continuous glucose monitoring systems. He is also Chairman of the Board for Vasogen, Inc., a biotechnology company focused on the research and commercial development of technologies targeting the chronic inflammation underlying cardiovascular and neurological disease. Mr. Gregg serves on the board of LMS Medical Systems, a healthcare technology company focused on developing software systems for computer assisted labor management. And since 2002, he has been a Special Venture Partner for Galen Partners, a private equity investment firm focused solely on the healthcare industry.

In 2002, Mr. Gregg retired as President of Medtronic MiniMed, a world leader in diabetes management systems. In 1996, he became President and Chief Operating Officer of MiniMed, Inc. and was instrumental in Medtronic's $3.4 billion acquisition of the company in 2001. Prior to joining MiniMed, he served in executive positions with Smith & Nephew and Allergan, Inc.

In 2002, Mr. Gregg received the Father of the Year award from the Father's Day Council of the American Diabetes Association's (ADA) Los Angeles office. The following year, Mr. Gregg and his wife were recognized by the National ADA with the award for Outstanding Service in Diabetes Research Funding. He also served as the 2003-2004 Chair of the ADA Research Foundation Board.
