
Dudley Dobie is a partner in the Austin law firm of Brorby, Crozier & Dobie, P.C. and is Trustee of the Clayton Foundation for Research in Houston. As an attorney, Mr. Dobie has specialized in patent litigation and technology licensing, as well as counseling clients generally in intellectual property matters.
Mr. Dobie's professional achievements include participation in the Governor's Council on Science and Biotechnology, the Committee of Intellectual Property and Technology Transfer; Chairman of The University of Texas at Austin Executive Advisory Board on Technology Transfer and Intellectual Property; Austin Chamber of Commerce Biotechnology Task Force; Director and Vice President of the Central Texas Higher Education Authority; President of both the Houston and Austin Intellectual Property Law Associations; and serving as Senior Attorney in the Office of General Counsel of The University of Texas System. Mr. Dobie was the recipient of The Texas Technology Transfer Association's T3A in 1989 and the Bob G. Davis Award in 1997.
Mr. Dobie received both a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering and Juris Doctor from the University of Texas at Austin in 1960 and 1964, respectively.
